Chrome Language Translation Extension

Are you a Google+ user yet? It doesn’t matter, just curious. What’s interesting to know is that Google has developed a translating service for its Google+ users. Now, users of this social-networking site can post a comment into more than 50 languages. Users only need to install an interpreting service extension. Once it is installed, a “translate” button will appear. This language translation tool also works with comments.

Google wants to emphasize that this is still experimental and are anxious to receive feedback on the usability of this language translation service. No one can argue that this is yet another cool feature of Google+ but would be remiss in thinking that this could ever compare to professional interpreting services. This language translation service tool, like others, is excellent for quick translations of comments, postings, etc. but does not replace the need for professional interpretation and document translation when accuracy and quality are crucial. Contact IU for translation services and interpreting services for court hearings, legal translations, depositions, medical interpreting, and other interpretation settings.

  3. "I agree that Google has developed a translating service for their users to translate very fast into more than 50 languages, but it is not always correct and sometimes needs further review. Most single words are translated correctly, but when the user needs to translate a whole sentence, the meaning can completely change. Only a native speaker or professional interpreter or translator can recognize the mistake and correct it in the proper, logical way. LingoStar can help with this, contact us at www.lingo-star.com."
