Reliable Translation Service

There are companies that recognize the value in a professional translation service because of the growing need to produce documents in multiple languages. True there is software like BI Publisher Reports developed to provide language translation. This software and others like it are excellent as it has made it much more efficient to handing language translation. For example, if you have 50 reports that need to be translated into 10 different language translations, you would think that it would yield 500 reports. To the contrary, this translation service software actually creates 10 language files associated with each report so that you still only have 50 reports.

But not all companies need such a robust program or can afford it. What they need is a translation service that will provide language translation in many languages at a reasonable rate. IU provides accurate, timely, and professional language translation services as well as interpreting services. Our translation service division can translate in over 130 languages. Contact IU today to get a free estimate on a language translation you need.

Language Interpreters are Valued

It may concern some that language interpreters don’t get the recognition they deserve for a profession that adds such value to the average consumer. To the contrary, many are beginning to understand and embrace the important role language interpreters and translating services play in environments like medical facilities.

In a hospital in St. Louis, Missouri medical language interpreters were given photography training and equipment to take pictures while giving interpreting services. These medical language interpreters also documented their thoughts and experiences in a journal for several weeks. In this case these language interpreters work with 83 different languages. Their photos and writing will be displayed at a local university campus until August, 2011.

The purpose of this exercise is to educate the general public on how to be active in your community and how to give back. Although language interpreters and translators require professional training, this gives a community the knowledge of how to enter into the translation service field and the benefits and rewards of doing so.

IU provides medical translation and interpreting services throughout the nation. Learn more about how IU helps healthcare professionals properly communicate to those with limited English proficiency or are hard of hearing.

Online Spanish Translators?

It is amazing how people still question whether an online Spanish translator is as accurate as a live language interpreter or language translator. Yes, I know you are just as shocked as I am. How can one believe a machine would be able to take into account the cultural nuances and dialect when performing a translation or doing an interpretation. IU has seen time and time again how important it is to have a qualified language translator for various interpretation services. It could be for a medical translation, a Spanish translation, really just any professional translation service.

IU chooses to work with language interpreters that have experience offering interpreting services and professional translation services. There will always be those that rely on online translators and may be satisfied when the accuracy of the translation is not that important.

If you want a professional translation service that is accurate, reliable, and timely, IU can help. IU provides language interpreters in over 130 languages and have been doing so nationwide for over 40 years. Legal and Medical Professional Translation Services

Some may underestimate the need for professional translation services. In an interview with a legal language interpreter, who also does medical Spanish interpretation, I learned some great insight on how it is to interpret in a legal and medical setting. This Spanish interpreter described the importance of his profession. He described a story in which he was interpreting in a hospital for a man who was deathly ill. While providing Spanish translation services, he translates each and every word without adding any additional words and remains completely objective. His tone mirrors the doctor in every way.

While performing a medical translation the patient's family asked him whether there was anything more the doctor could do for their loved one. The doctor answered no, but it wasn't until he gave the Spanish translation, which is the same in English 'no', that the family began to cry. It was a moment he would never forget - a moment that reminded him to always provide professional translation services. That accuracy in a medical translation means everything. At times when he was performing a Spanish translation service and he felt further explanation in Spanish was necessary, he would always ask permission of the attorney or doctor first before providing the additional Spanish translation.

For this language translator, the well being of the ESL person is most important above anything else. IU shares this belief and prides itself on providing calm, professional translation services including document translations in over 130 countries.
